Christmas

I'm back. Was blogging around these lovely ladies, who seem to have so many lovely ideas.
I decided its about time i do something its not much. But the spirit of christmas is around
us. So what to do? These chinese lanterns needed a new face lift from the flowery bunch.
Made these two sweeties. Got me some plastic flowers from a shop with holes in the middle
been wanting to do some lovely christmas lights. so here we go had me some glue gun.
and TADA!. But i think i have to find another way. because when i light them the glue is heating
and melting back and the flowers are falling. ANY IDEAS?
I was thinking UHU or plain white glue.
Please help????

My gift

It took me time to decide how i wanted
to display the lovely gift i received from
ted and bunny
She was very generous to send a gift although
i did not win her giveaway. But it seems
angels do exist.
So i wanted her lovely crochet that she
generously sent, to be displayed with charm .
they are displayed with some of my handmade
necklaces and earrings, in a glass bell find.

Birthday

Today is my friends birthday, and i decided to make her
a necklace among other things she will receive, i wanted
something that nobody else will have.
I think she will enjoy the colors of these pastel pearls.
Don't you think its lovely.I love how these colors blend
with each other.
I am displaying it on a chinese lantern made today for a
customer who wanted yellow backround with blue flowers
for her daughters room.
I think i will make her a bracelet too.

Flower order

This is a new order for a flower arrangement.
This order is from a lovely lady that is always
bringing me vases and pots to make for her
friends gifts.
god bless her for she is bringing me joy to create
some lovely arrangements. Though its fake flowers
it sure is give you the feeling of having the garden
in.

Nostalgia

While browsing through lovely blogs, had a glimpse
through their lovely vintage jewels , had to show you
some of my own stuff, got them from my mom and
grandma (rest her soul).
Look at this umbrella brooch, it has an intricate cross
stitched on fabric pink roses. Its lovely. Has anyone
seen anything so lovely. Ted and Bunny have you seen
anything around the lovely stuff you collect.

Lovely blue and red

Passed by a lovely blog, sixty one a.
She has lovely driftwood creations, which
makes you dreams of the sea and the sand.
She has huts and boats, made want to paint
her creations on canvas. Will have a go at it
and will show you as soon as possible.
Made some fishes and boat on porcelain .
Am trying to add them from my mobile.
Will try my best.
And a necklace made by yours truly.

Back to the city

The summer was over for me this saturday.
Packed our bags for the return to the city.
Said my goodbyes to the garden on a beautiful
drizzling afternoon and the chill of autumn.
Closed my windows and locked the doors.
Looked back for a final look at the greenery that
surrounded me. Had a sigh and turned around .


For the next nine month i will live in the city.
Surrounded by tall buildings and lack of green.
Will remember the garden.
Flowers and trees.
Birds and bugs.
And me with a cup of tea.

City here I COME.
Be prepared for me.

Blue sunday

My garden.

Nice sunday, nothing blue about it. Just the sky with its scattered light fluffy far away clouds. Am enjoying the sun with a slight breeze of wind cooling you off. While sitting in the garden and enjoying life, i had a blue strike. I thought about the day i found a lovely set of blue stripy cool ware, (that i know all english people will enjoy to have). Found them in a fair, were being sold for 50$ . For the whole set, i thought its a good bargain. WHAT YOU THINK? is it a good find or what?. Made you a display under the 2 big olive trees i have in the garden . I hope the pictures show how blue they are. Cut some flowers for your eyes only. Not much of wild flowers here in Lebanon. Only planted. I would love to have a typical english garden. So i will stop talking and show you the pictures.

White wednesdays 2

Just last minute post as usual, but have only one picture to show you . A find in a antique shop near my home in Beirut, usual it has expensive thing. which i never go in, for fear of having a heart attack, (the prices are sky high). but this day she seemed to have a table outside and stuff lying around for people to look at. I notice these dishes, and loved their intricate designs. Had to have them (cheap, but for the standard that i seem to read from those lovely blogger of getting things for as much as a half dollar or so). Would have loved to be around these ladies and their finds. Had other pictures to take but my phone battery died , so only one picture. For sure next week will try to show some more.

My garden

This is my garden, in my mountain house, and rather old house (over 70 year old) with white big stone facade. And a rather small garden that does the trick. Have 2 BIG OLIVE trees, that we sit under its shade to cool down from this august heat, and Kitty the cat rubs himself all over the ground.

Color full of granny squares

I have been dreaming of making some granny squares since i had a look at attic24 beautifull throwovers and pillows, i had a go at her very easy tutorials, (for sure better than any book i bought). So been trying to have a go at some crochet, starting and stopping in the middle. I got me some lovely yarns from a shop in the mountain, (not a bargain) but hey the heart wanted them. So here are some pictures of them, and my start a a huge granny square ( will see how much i can make it bigger). Will post some pictures later on as it grows.

New designs

Hello, i've been busy these few days, trying a making some new stuff for you to indulge. I LOVE turquoise, tried my hand at some necklaces. I have one in particular that was imagining for a while, called a NEFERTITI ( a friend of mine named it).

Its been so hot for the last ten days that i did not feel like blogging, sorry guys, will try to be more active for the coming days, was busy today making some jewels for my shop. will post the pictures tomorrow, making some sets for you to see and judge them.
